Marlboro Babe Ruth Baseball helps run a very successful Fall League designed to teach baseball fundamentals by providing players a learning environment in a loosely competitive game atmosphere.

League Structure
There will be two levels of play for Fall Babe Ruth Baseball. The Prep division consists of players who are league age 12 and 13. The Jr. Babe Division consists of players who are league age 14, 15 and 16. Teams will be made up from many neighboring towns. We try to balance the games so each team has an equal number of home and away games. Away games are usually no more than a 15 – 20 minute drive from Marlboro. Early on in the season or before the season starts, there may be some practices scheduled during weeknights. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays only during the months of September and October. Standings are not kept for this league. Dual participation is allowed so if a player also plays another sport, we have enough players on the teams to offset any absences.

Babe Ruth Prep
This league is made up of players who are league age 12 and 13. This league is designed to introduce 12 year old players, who will be moving up from Youth Baseball, to the rules associated with the regulation size baseball field. League age 12 year olds as well as current year Jr. Babe Ruth League players (league age 13) participate are eligible to play in this league. See the link to the age chart below)

Jr. Babe Ruth
This league is made up of players who are league age 14, 15 and 16. (See the link to the age chart below) This league is designed to provide more game experience for players who want to improve their all-around baseball skills. This is a great opportunity for players to work on skills they did not master in spring or summer.
